Biographical Note
Ó hArachtáin (Ua hArachtáin, Ó Harachtáin, Harrington), Pádraig (Pat, Patrick) (c.1904-?): Pádraig Ó hArachtáin was born in Adrigole, Bear, county Cork, around 1904. He attended primary school locally. He was living there with his family for the census of 1911 [http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/reels/nai001826545/]. His parents were John and Mary Harrington. Both he and his father were farmers. Further material collected from him for the Schools’ Collection is housed in the National Folklore Collection, UCD.
