Go mbeanna(íthear) dhuid, a Bhanríon[1] bheannaithe, a Mháthair na trócaire,
Ár mbeatha, ár milseacht agus ár ndóchas,
Is ort a ghuímid[2],
clann bhocht dhíbeartha Éabha,
Go dtí thú (a chuireann muid ár n-osnaí, is sinn) ag déanamh
tuirse agus bróin ar an ghleann seo na ndeor.
Ar an ábhar sin, a Eadarghuítheoir,
Féach orainn le do shúile trócaireach,
Agus nuair a bheas ár ndíbreacht[3] ar an tsaol seo críochnaithe
Teisteáin[4] dúinn toradh beannaithe do bhroinne,
Íosa.
A Mhuire mhilis, cheansa, chráifeach, mhilis,
Guigh orainne, a Naomh-Mháthair Dé,
Ionas go ndéanf(aí) sinn fiúntach geallúnacha Chríosta do fháil.
